HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year starter for coach Mark Hudson at Boone Central High School...Team captain...Part of four state playoff teams including a 13-0 state championship team in 2023...Two-time all-district first team defensive end...All-state first team his junior year...Made 178 career tackles with 52.5 tackles for loss and 21 sacks...Had 20 TFLs and 11 sacks his senior year...Two-time conference runner-up and state qualifier in wrestling...Set a school record for most wins in a season (44)...Also a state qualifier in track.

PERSONAL: Plans to major in construction management...Parents are Andy and Susan...Father competed in football and track at Doane University...Mother was in track and volleyball at Doane...Has three brothers, Jackson, William and Simon...Jackson is on the track team at South Dakota State.
