HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year starter for Pine Island coached by Mitch Schiltz...Three-year team captain...Two-time defensive MVP and all-conference pick...Had 79 tackles with 12 tackles for loss, two sacks and two forced fumbles his senior year...Academic all-state in football...All-conference basketball player...Two-time all-conference in track and field...Section champion in the shot put...State qualifier in the 4x400 relay.

PERSONAL: Majoring in biochemistry and molecular biology...Parents are Mitch and Angie...Father played football and mother played volleyball at Winona State University...Has two brothers, Cody and Tyson.
