NDSU Soccer Announces 2026 Schedule

FARGO, N.D. – North Dakota State soccer has announced the full schedule for the 2026 season, with the Bison set to play a 20-game regular season, including 12 home games at Dacotah Field.
The schedule includes some changes to the Summit League lineup, with the league moving to a 10-game schedule that features two pods. The Bison will play their pod twice, with the Bison set to face North Dakota, South Dakota and South Dakota State home and away.
The 2026 season will once again see the Bison open up the regular season in the state of Wisconsin, as NDSU travels to Madison to take on Wisconsin on Saturday, August 8. The Bison will then open up a six-game homestand over the next three weeks, beginning with Green Bay and Marquette on August 13 and 16.
NDSU will continue the home stand with a Thursday night match up against Minnesota, before welcoming in Washington State on August 20 and 23. The Bison close the homestand against Prairie View A&M and Presbyterian on August 27 and 30.
The Bison begin September in California, wrapping up the road games in non-conference play with a trip to Santa Barbara to take on Westmont and UC Santa Barbara on September 3 and 6. NDSU then closes out non-conference play against Florida Atlantic at home on September 10.
Following a two-week break, NDSU will begin Summit League play in Grand Forks on September 24, before returning home to take on South Dakota on September 27. The Bison will then host a Saturday night game against South Dakota State on Homecoming Weekend, taking on the Jackrabbits at 7 p.m., following NDSU Football's game at home against Wyoming.
NDSU then begins a four-game stretch against the other pod of teams in the Summit League, hosting St. Thomas and Omaha on October 8 and 11, before traveling to Oral Roberts and Kansas City October 15-18.
The Bison will wrap up the home schedule with another Saturday night game, taking on North Dakota on October 24. NDSU will then go to Vermillion and Brookings to close out the regular season at South Dakota and South Dakota State on October 29 and November 1.
The Summit League Women's Soccer Championship will feature a six-team field and a two-weekend structure. Quarterfinal contests are slated for Nov. 6-7, with the No. 3 and No. 4 seeds hosting first-round matches, before the No. 1 seed hosts the semifinals and championship match during Nov. 11-15. Exact dates remain to be determined.
